Hanoi: 12-year-old boy assaulted in the middle of the street

On August 22, Mr. NHT (residing in Mai Dong ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi ) informed that his 12-year-old son had just been assaulted, resulting in facial injuries and had to be hospitalized.

According to information provided by Mr. T., at around 5:00 p.m. on August 18, his son, M. (12 years old), was playing soccer with his friends at the New Horison City apartment building (Mai Dong ward, Hanoi). While competing for the ball, the two teams got into an argument, leading to a fight.

After that, M.'s team moved to another area to play, the other team left. After that, a man around 30 years old on a motorbike came and assaulted M. in front of many people.

According to Mr. T., his child was brought home by a friend in a state of heavy bleeding, with a torn head and many soft tissue injuries on the face, neck, shoulders, arms, etc.

The family took the child to the emergency room and had three stitches to close the wound around his eye. Currently, M. still has headaches and pain in many parts of his body, sometimes feels dizzy, nauseous, and is in a state of panic and fear...

On the evening of August 18, Mr. T's family filed a complaint with the Mai Dong Ward Police along with photos and video footage from the apartment building's camera recording the entire incident. Meanwhile, an officer from the Mai Dong Ward Police (Hoang Mai District) said that they had received the complaint and processed the file to transfer it to the Hoang Mai District Police Investigation Agency to handle the case according to their authority.
