At the meeting, the two localities reviewed the results of multi-faceted cooperation in the past time. From 2016 to now, Hanoi has supported Ca Mau province with a total budget of 139 billion VND. Of which, 12 billion VND is for social security, hunger eradication and poverty reduction and 127 billion VND to build the Hanoi Flag Tower at Ca Mau Cape. This project has become a sacred symbol, bearing a strong historical and cultural mark, expressing the deep attachment of the people of the capital to the land and people of Ca Mau.
Ca Mau Province has proposed that the Hanoi Party Committee and People's Committee continue to pay attention and support resources to complete the space inside the Hanoi Flag Tower. The province also hopes to receive support for investing in a cultural project that is a symbol of the capital in the old Bac Lieu province, and arrange a location for Ca Mau to build a typical symbol in Hanoi. At the same time, Ca Mau proposed that Hanoi support the arrangement of display and promotion points for the province's OCOP products in Hanoi, as well as introduce OCOP entities to participate in displaying and promoting Hanoi's products in Ca Mau.

Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai proposed that the two localities continue to promote cooperation in various fields, exploiting the advantages of both Hanoi and Ca Mau. Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized the need to research and increase trade so that people can know more about the products of the two provinces, especially promoting OCOP products, seafood and supporting the training of high-performance athletes.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong affirmed that the relationship between Hanoi and Ca Mau has achieved many positive results, demonstrating a long-term cooperative vision, open thinking and making the most of the advantages of each locality. Mr. Nguyen Van Phong said that the Hanoi Flag Tower project is a typical example, creating attraction and becoming a sacred symbol in Ca Mau province, beyond initial expectations.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong said that in the coming time, the two localities need to promote cooperation based on a longer-term and broader vision. Hanoi and Ca Mau will continue to support and share experiences in building mechanisms and policies to promote resources for development, organization and operation of two-level local governments, digital transformation and building smart governments and localities.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phong also assigned the authorities of the two localities to evaluate the potential, strengths, and cooperation opportunities to come up with specific and effective solutions, especially in re-planning the Hanoi Flag Tower area at Ca Mau Cape Tourist Area, turning this place into a famous destination domestically and internationally. The display inside the Hanoi Flag Tower needs to have a master plan and a clear idea to ensure effectiveness and meaning.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong also suggested that the two localities should pay attention to cooperation in improving the quality of human resources and promoting the exchange of teachers, coaches and athletes. Hanoi can introduce scientists and support Ca Mau in sustainable and green development. He noted that the two sides should strengthen the introduction and promotion of investment and organize fairs to build product brands.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong assigned the task: "The Party Committee of the City People's Committee reviews and coordinates with Ca Mau province to specifically calculate investment support for projects, in the direction of promoting sustainable development; promoting and introducing culture and history between the two localities".
