Hanoi has a third culinary street.

(CLO) On the evening of January 18, Nguyen Van Tuyet food street in Dong Da district, Hanoi was inaugurated and officially put into operation. The third food street in Hanoi is honored to be named after one of the seven generals of the Tay Son uprising army - famous general Nguyen Van Tuyet.

This is the third culinary street in Hanoi and the first business street in Dong Da district to apply a completely cashless payment method.

Nguyen Van Tuyet Street is honored to be named after one of the seven generals of the Tay Son uprising, who contributed greatly to the glorious victory of Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da by Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue in the spring of the year Ky Dau 1789.

Nguyen Van Tuyet Street was established in 2016. This street is home to many restaurants, eateries, and refreshments with a variety of quality and prices, making it a trusted destination for diners.

Nguyen Van Tuyet culinary street space stretches from the intersection of Tay Son street (at house number 298 to the intersection of Yen Lang street at number 53); street length 840m, roadway and sidewalk width 10-12m; total usable area 2.84ha.

The activities of Nguyen Van Tuyet culinary street will focus on developing existing businesses here. Operating hours are 18 - 24 hours every Saturday and Sunday.

During the opening hours, motor vehicles will be banned on Nguyen Van Tuyet food street to reserve space for pedestrians to enjoy food, cultural and artistic activities...

To manage and operate the culinary street well, Dong Da district has assigned units to develop regulations and rules for management, operations, and participation in service business in the area... as a basis for long-term maintenance of activities here, ensuring publicity and transparency.

According to Mr. Ha Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Dong Da District People's Committee, Nguyen Van Tuyet culinary street opened on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of local people, forming another cultural and culinary address of the capital; building the image of the tourist destination of Hanoi capital "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive".
