Hanoi: Restoring driving license points - what should people do and where?

The Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police has just announced the receipt of applications for inspection of road traffic order and safety laws to restore driving license points.

The subjects of application are those whose driving license has been deducted points, submitting an application to have their driving license points restored. The application includes an application form No. 01 (appendix attached to Circular No. 65/2024/TT-BCA dated November 12, 2024); a valid health certificate of the driver issued by a competent authority.

The reception location is the headquarters of the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Examination Team, Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police (No. 2 Phung Hung, Ha Dong Ward, Hanoi). Reception time is during office hours from Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings every week.

* Hanoi Traffic Police Department also announced the schedule for organizing inspections of laws on road traffic order and safety to restore driving license points.

Location: at the headquarters of the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Examination Team - Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police (No. 2 Phung Hung, Ha Dong Ward). Time: 8am every Tuesday and Thursday (except holidays).

Candidates must be present at the correct time and place as notified by the competent authority and bring one of the following documents for verification and comparison of information with the application: citizen identification card, driver's license, identity card (for people of Vietnamese origin whose nationality has not been determined), permanent residence card or temporary residence card (for foreigners).

In case personal information has been integrated into the electronic citizen identification card, the national electronic identification and authentication system will be exploited to compare with the information in the application.
