Ha Trung prioritizes developing transport infrastructure

Identifying that the construction of transport infrastructure plays an important role in the development of socio -economic infrastructure, Ha Trung district has focused on mobilizing resources to prioritize investment and implementation of many important transport projects in the area. Thereby, creating a driving force for socio-economic development, improving the quality of people's lives.

To maximize the advantages of geographical location, meet the travel needs of people, improve the capacity of transportation, freight transport, serve the comprehensive socio-economic development, Ha Trung district has focused resources to gradually complete the local traffic system according to the plan. The Standing Committee of Ha Trung District Party Committee issued Resolution No. 13-NQ/HU on "Strengthening the leadership of the Party Committee in mobilizing people to participate in donating land to expand rural roads in the district". After more than a year of implementation, initial positive results have been achieved, creating a movement of donating land to expand rural roads in the whole district. Up to now, the whole district has had more than 600 households voluntarily donating tens of thousands of square meters of land to expand, renovate and build new rural roads, promoting the process of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

Ha Long Commune is one of the leading localities in implementing Resolution No. 13-NQ/HU of the Standing Committee of Ha Trung District Party Committee. Currently, 100% of the intra-village roads and main intra-field roads of the commune have been concreted and hardened, ensuring convenient traffic for people. In particular, many roads have been widened by people on both sides, flowers and ornamental plants planted, lighting installed and regularly managed and cleaned. It is known that previously, the roads of the villages and hamlets in the commune were mostly only 2.5 - 3m wide. Implementing the commune's policy as well as the propaganda and mobilization work of the Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations, nearly 100 households in the commune voluntarily donated 3,100 square meters of residential land and constructions on the land such as fences, gates, trees to widen the road surface from 6 to 6.5 meters to ensure convenient production, business and transportation for people.

Currently, in Ha Trung district, there are many traffic infrastructure construction projects being implemented to complete the synchronous traffic network, creating momentum for regional economic development. Typical traffic projects include: from the center of Ha Trung district to the center of Bim Son town; from Gu urban area, Linh Toai commune to Bao Van bridge, Ha Hai commune; from Ha Tan commune to Yen Duong commune; traffic connecting Ha Linh urban area (highway intersection in Ha Linh commune) to the relic cluster of Han temple, Co Bo, Ha Son commune; renovating and upgrading traffic routes on National Highway 1A connecting National Highway 217 extension... Up to now, the rate of hardened traffic routes in the district has reached over 90%, many routes in communes have been invested in, renovated and upgraded, meeting the travel and trade needs of the people.
