Previously, at around 6:30 p.m. on September 25, Major Le Thi Ngoc Tu, an officer of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department, while on duty, discovered a black wallet containing 15,000 USD and 24 million VND, an iPhone 7 Plus, and many personal documents.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Hien received his property back at the police headquarters.

Immediately after that, Major Tu brought the property to the police headquarters, handed it over for verification, and returned it to the owner. Using professional measures, the authorities quickly identified the owner as Mr. Pham Ngoc Hien (born in 1984, residing in Vinh Phu ward, Nghe An).

Nghe An Provincial Police organized the return of all the property to Mr. Hien. Here, Mr. Hien expressed his emotion and sent his deep thanks to Nghe An Police force, especially Major Le Thi Ngoc Tu for her noble and humane gesture.

Accordingly, on the same morning, while on duty, Captain Tran Nguyen Manh, a police officer of Vinh Phu ward, Nghe An province, picked up a wallet on Tran Nguyen Quan street (behind Nghe An General Hospital). Inside the wallet were many personal documents, an international bank card in the name of Le Van Cong (born in 1991), residing in Tan Ky commune, Nghe An province, and many foreign currencies including: 2,100 USD, 10,000 RUB (total nearly 60 million VND).

Immediately afterwards, Captain Manh quickly reported to the Ward Police Commander and coordinated to verify, contact and quickly return all assets to the owner.

Receiving the property he thought he had lost, Mr. Cong emotionally said that on the evening of September 24, 2025, he went from the Provincial General Hospital to his motel on Mai Lao Bang Street and accidentally dropped the bag containing this valuable property. The money was the result of hard work days abroad, which he brought back to cover the medical expenses for his relatives at the hospital.
