Opening of Pickleball Tournament of Emulation Cluster No. 8 - Block of units under the Ministry of Public Security

The tournament is organized with the aim of maintaining and improving the quality of physical activities at each unit in Emulation Cluster No. 8, creating a healthy playground to help officers and soldiers improve their health, relax, and connect with each other more after work; At the same time, it is also a practical activity within the Plan to organize a series of activities of Emulation Cluster No. 8 - Bloc of units under the Ministry of Public Security towards welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels and the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025).

Colonel Nguyen Le Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction and Barracks Management, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, spoke at the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Le Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction and Barracks Management, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, emphasized that with the spirit of "Healthy to protect the Homeland Security - Solidarity, honesty, nobility and progress", the tournament gathered 6 teams and many athletes from units under Emulation Cluster No. 8. The tournament is not only an opportunity for officers and soldiers of units under Emulation Cluster No. 8 to exchange and learn, but also an opportunity to discover outstanding individuals and groups in the mass sports movement of Emulation Cluster No. 8.

The organizers presented flowers and souvenir flags to representatives of participating teams.

The 2025 Pickeball Tournament organized by Emulation Cluster No. 8 - Block of units under the Ministry of Public Security took place on September 27 with two events including: men's doubles (20 pairs of athletes participating), mixed and women's teams (14 pairs of athletes participating) ....

Regarding the prize structure, the Organizing Committee will award 2 first prizes with a prize worth 5 million VND, a Cup, and a medal; 2 second prizes with a prize worth 3 million VND and a medal; 4 third prizes with a prize worth 2 million VND and a medal. The award ceremony will take place at the closing ceremony of the tournament held on the evening of September 27.
