Hai Duong presented the Navy with a boat worth 3.5 billion VND to serve in Truong Sa.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Sang, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, together with leaders of agencies, units and localities signed the minutes of handover of the boat to the Navy.

On the morning of January 10, in Hai Phong city, a conference took place to hand over CQ-01 and CV-01 boats donated to the Navy by 11 localities, agencies, units and enterprises.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Navy and representatives of localities, agencies, units and businesses.

In 2022, the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee organized a delegation to visit and encourage the soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district. At the same time, the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee coordinated to organize and mobilize funds to donate a CQ boat worth 3.5 billion VND to the Navy. Thanh Dong Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company is the sponsor.

Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan, Deputy Commander of the Navy, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Navy Command, respectfully thanked the sentiments and attention of localities, agencies, and units for the cause of protecting sea and island sovereignty and for Navy officers and soldiers.

The boat donated by Hai Duong has the registration number CQ-01. The Navy solemnly held a boat handover ceremony at Factory X46, Department of Naval Logistics and Engineering (Hai Phong City).

Boat CQ-01 has been accepted, tested at the wharf and long distance according to the process to ensure stable operation. The parameters are guaranteed to be in accordance with the design, configuration, features, and technical specifications approved by the General Staff, Ministry of National Defense.

The factory has fully prepared the conditions and equipped the boats to hand over for training and combat readiness in Truong Sa.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan, Deputy Commander of the Navy, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Navy Command, respectfully thanked the sentiments and deep concern of localities, agencies, and units, including Hai Duong province, for the cause of protecting sea and island sovereignty and naval officers and soldiers.

With political responsibility, love for the homeland's sea and islands and the spirit of "the whole country for Truong Sa, Truong Sa for the whole country", over the years, naval officers and soldiers, especially the soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district, have always received attention, encouragement and support both materially and spiritually from agencies, units and localities across the country.

This is a source of encouragement, motivation, and strength for the navy to fulfill its responsibility as the core force to firmly protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea, islands, and continental shelf of the Fatherland.

The CV-01 and CQ-01 boats provided by agencies, units, localities and existing enterprises in Truong Sa contribute to improving combat readiness, solid and interconnected defense, participating in preventing, repelling and attacking foreign forces and vehicles; participating in search and rescue at sea, being a fulcrum to help and protect fishermen to exploit seafood safely and legally. At the same time, consolidating and strengthening the national defense posture and the people's warfare posture at sea.
