Two Vietnamese startups, AI Hay and Kompato AI, were selected to participate in the AWS Generative AI Accelerator program.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), a company of Amazon.com, has just announced that two Vietnamese startups, AI Hay and Kompato AI (a subsidiary of Trusting Social applying generative AI), have been selected to participate in the AWS Global Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Accelerator program.

Amazon Web Services always has activities for startups to grow.

These are early-stage startups, among 80 companies worldwide selected by AWS for their innovative use of AI and global growth aspirations.

The program will support Hay AI in developing an advanced knowledge discovery platform, powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). The platform is specifically geared towards low- to moderate-resource language users, allowing users to access collective intelligence through a combination of search, social media, and AI.

Mr. Tran Duc, CEO of AI Hay, shared: "AI Hay is proud to be selected to participate in the AWS Generative AI Accelerator program. This is an important milestone for us, helping to accelerate the AI ​​development process and enhance our solutions."

Meanwhile, Kompato AI is a pioneer in applying comprehensive AI to its Accounts Receivable Management platform for consumer lending institutions, which not only ensures strict regulatory compliance but is also easily scalable and highly efficient.

As part of AWS’s $230 million commitment to accelerate AI adoption globally, the AWS Generative AI Accelerator program provides startups, especially early-stage companies, with AWS credits, mentorship, and training to support their adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies. Participating companies will have access to AWS’s compute, storage, and database technologies, and use AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia2 energy-efficient chips to achieve high performance at optimal cost.

According to PitchBook Data, Inc., there are currently 765 AI and ML companies in Vietnam that have raised more than $47.3 million in investment as of now in 2024. However, 35% of generative AI companies globally have offices in countries other than their headquarters, showing that there are many opportunities to support domestic businesses to expand their international operations.
