At the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Vu Ho, on behalf of ASEAN Ambassadors, welcomed National Assembly Chairman Woo Won Sik to chair the first meeting of the year.

Ambassador Vu Ho proposed to organize regular meetings between leaders of the National Assembly, parliamentarians of Korea and the group of ambassadors of ASEAN countries to update information on legal policies between the parties, not only to strengthen cooperation between parliamentary agencies of the countries but also to contribute to enhancing exchanges between central and local agencies and people of Korea and ASEAN countries.
