A series of constructions in Hai Ba Trung district violate fire prevention regulations.

The People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District ( Hanoi City) has just issued a document publicizing constructions that violate Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue (PCCC-CNCH).

Accordingly, there are 19 projects in the area that have not been accepted for fire prevention and fighting but have been put into operation. The announcement of this list is to strictly implement the direction of the City People's Committee and the City Police.

Constructions and buildings violating fire prevention and fighting regulations in Hai Ba Trung district include: Headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Training (No. 35 Dai Co Viet); Headquarters of the Ministry of Construction (No. 37 Le Dai Hanh); Headquarters of the Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Ha Thanh Branch (No. 330 Ba Trieu); Headquarters of the National Institute of Forensic Medicine (No. 41 Nguyen Dinh Chieu); Media Digital Transformation Center Building (No. 2 Hoa Lu) all located in Le Dai Hanh ward.

Hoa Binh Latrobe-Hanoi Inter-level School (No. 65 Cam Hoi, Dong Mac Ward); Saigon Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank headquarters (No. 11 Han Thuyen, Pham Dinh Ho Ward); CoraBuilding Building (No. 24-26-28 Hoa Ma, Pham Dinh Ho Ward); housing combined with office for rent (No. 15-17 Han Thuyen, Pham Dinh Ho Ward).

Previously, in November 2022, Hoan Kiem District Police (Hanoi City) temporarily suspended the operation of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs (located at 18 Le Thanh Tong, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City) for 1 month to request the repair of a number of fire prevention and fighting items at the Department's headquarters.

The Department of Home Affairs headquarters was built many years ago, and to date there are a number of items that do not meet current fire prevention and fighting standards.

Previously, in February 2023, the Hanoi People's Committee sent an official dispatch to departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities requesting resolute handling of facilities that do not ensure fire safety conditions; publicizing 100% of projects and constructions that violate fire safety regulations, considering this an important and regular task, contributing to ensuring security, order, and social safety .
