Journey to fulfill dreams: LPBank donates bicycles to 300 poor students in Phu Tho

Not just a means of transportation to school. Each car that LPBank donated is also a great source of encouragement for 300 disadvantaged students in Phu Tho province, adding strength and lighting up the belief for them to firmly walk on the path of knowledge.

Bicycle gifts at the opening ceremony

LPBank has awarded 300 bicycles to 300 outstanding students with difficult circumstances in localities in the province, right on the opening day of the new school year, September 5, 2025. This is not only a practical gift, but also a strong encouragement, promoting the spirit of learning right from the beginning of the school year.

Giving 300 bicycles to students in Phu Tho province is a meaningful activity within the framework of the VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025, in which LPBank is the main companion unit to combine sportsmanship with social responsibility.

On the morning of September 5, 2025, at Lam Son Primary and Secondary School (Luong Son Commune, Phu Tho Province), representatives of the Organizing Committee of the VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025 directly presented the first 20 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances. The sound of the school drum, mixed with the happy smiles of the students receiving gifts, made the opening day more complete. These bicycles will shorten the distance to class, opening up new journeys full of hope.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Phan Ngoc Tien - Head of Sports Department of Vietnam Television, Head of Organizing Committee of VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025; Mr. Ho Nam Tien - Permanent Vice Chairman of LPBank Board of Directors. Sharing at the ceremony, Mr. Ho Nam Tien affirmed: "Investing in education is investing in the future of the country. We hope that today's bicycles will become companions, giving students more strength to walk firmly on the path of learning".

Journey of nurturing green seeds for education career

This bicycle donation continues LPBank's many-year journey of being associated with the cause of promoting education in Phu Tho. The Bank is the founder of the Fund for Promoting Education and Talents of the Ancestral Land and has accompanied the annual honoring program since 2011. In 2024 alone, the program "Fostering Dreams - Honoring the Fund for Promoting Education and Talents of the Ancestral Land" honored more than 600 outstanding students and athletes and awarded 300 scholarships worth over 2 billion VND.

Besides education, LPBank also demonstrates the spirit of sharing in many community activities. After typhoon Yagi, the bank promptly gave 312 gifts to support people in flooded areas of Ha Hoa district (now Ha Hoa commune, Phu Tho), contributing to helping people stabilize their lives soon.
