Hau Giang launched a 60-day digital transformation emulation movement

This emulation movement was launched to mobilize the strength of the entire political and social system to participate in the comprehensive digital transformation process for the entire population to improve the rate of online service submission, online payment, reuse of file components, and results of administrative procedure (TTHC) settlement; Forming habits for people in performing online administrative procedures, at the same time guiding and training digital skills, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, promoting each business, household, and person to participate in activities in the digital environment; Developing technical infrastructure: Improving the telecommunications network to better support 3G/4G/5G devices and providing stable internet connection for online services, encouraging and supporting devices so that people can easily switch from 2G to 3G/4G/5G devices in the province.

According to the plan, Hau Giang aims to achieve a rate of 60% of administrative procedure records processed online (full process and part); The rate of online payment records reaches 50% or more; 100% of records received on the Provincial Administrative Procedure Processing Information System have their file components and processing results digitized; 100% of local people complete the conversion from 2G mobile devices to 3G/4G/5G mobile devices.

The emulation movement will be organized synchronously throughout the province, with participants including: People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities; People's Committees of communes, wards, and towns; and telecommunications enterprises in the province.

The movement will take place from October 10, 2024 to December 10, 2024, in which the Provincial People's Committee will closely monitor the progress and results of implementing the set targets.

The main contents include: Mobilizing people to submit documents online and make online payments on the Provincial Administrative Procedures Information System; Promoting the digitalization of document components and results of administrative procedure settlement; Supporting, propagating, and mobilizing people to switch mobile devices from 2G to 3G/4G/5G devices.

The 60-day digital transformation emulation movement in Hau Giang promises to create a breakthrough in applying information technology to social life, thereby improving the quality of public services and creating favorable conditions for people to carry out online administrative procedures.
