At the meeting, the Ward People's Council reviewed, discussed and approved the draft resolutions submitted by the Ward People's Committee, including: Report on the results of implementing socio -economic, security and defense tasks in the first 6 months of the year and directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; other reports and submissions related to the budget, public investment and the plan to rename residential groups.
The Ward People's Council also reviewed and approved the submissions and draft resolutions submitted by the Ward People's Council Standing Committee, including: Resolution promulgating the Working Regulations of the People's Council and its affiliated agencies, Resolution on the supervision program for 2025 and until the end of the 2021-2026 term.
Speaking at the meeting, Party Secretary and Chairman of Lang Ward People's Council Nguyen Hong Dan emphasized the importance of this meeting in reviewing and deciding on important issues within its authority, especially after nearly a month of implementing the two-level local government model.
The approval of the Working Regulations of the People's Council, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Council's committees, the People's Council delegations and the People's Council delegates of the ward with 8 chapters and 60 articles will be the foundation for the People's Council, the People's Committee, the agencies of the People's Council and the People's Committee of the ward to coordinate in implementing tasks methodically, scientifically and in accordance with the law.
Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Hong Dan requested that delegates, units and relevant agencies properly implement the approved regulations. The Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Council committees continue to develop other regulations for synchronous implementation, such as: Regulations on coordination between the Standing Committee of the People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; regulations on receiving citizens; regulations on handling citizens' petitions.
In addition, focus on strengthening the supervisory activities of the People's Council and the People's Council committees of wards, especially in the last 6 months of 2025 and 2026, demonstrating the people's mastery.
The Ward People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward need to identify and forecast difficulties, exploit the potential and strengths of the ward, improve the quality of staff, apply digital transformation, promote administrative reform to complete the set targets; promote the strength of great solidarity, build a strong ward political system, operate effectively, be close to the people and develop sustainably.
