The Vietnamese Embassy in Türkiye and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran (also in Syria) quickly grasped the situation, together with the provisional executive committee of the Vietnamese Association in Türkiye, ready to support overseas Vietnamese.

Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Hieu, Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, also sent a letter of encouragement and sharing.

Not only supporting each other, with the tradition of mutual love and support, "the rich help the poor", our compatriots in many places around the world have had many activities to support and help the victims of the earthquake.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Iran and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Iran have raised donations to support Syrian people affected by the disaster. On February 14, Ambassador Luong Quoc Huy signed the condolence book and presented the donation to Mr. Daiyoub, Syrian Ambassador to Iran.

Responding to the call of the Syrian Embassy in Russia, in just two days, Vietnamese people who have lived in the capital Moscow for a long time organized a campaign to buy instant food for children and adults as well as essential goods with a total value of about 500,000 rubles (7,000 USD).

A similar shipment was handed over to the Syrian Embassy in Russia by Counselor Nguyen Tung Lam and representatives of the Vietnamese community on February 12.

Since February 6, immediately after the devastating earthquakes, the Syrian Embassy in Russia has become a center for receiving relief goods, with many people and volunteers in Moscow coming to participate in sorting and packaging the goods so that they can be transported by air to the victims in Syria.

In Bulgaria, through the Turkish Embassy in the capital Sofia, Ambassador Do Hoang Long signed the condolence book and sent his deep condolences to the Turkish government and people.

Türkiye is a neighboring country of Bulgaria, and is also the place where a large part of the Vietnamese community in Bulgaria has had trade relations for decades. Immediately after receiving the appeal letter from the Bulgarian Red Cross and the Turkish Embassy, the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Bulgaria proactively coordinated with associations and groups in the community to take the lead in donating clothes and essential items.

After 4 days (from February 7 to 11), the Vietnamese community in Bulgaria collected 82 boxes of clothes, gloves, socks, hats... worth about 20,000 leva (11,000 USD). These goods were delivered to cities in the earthquake zone of Türkiye under the coordination of the International Red Cross.

In addition, a number of individuals and groups doing business with Turkish partners also directly supported cash and transported essential supplies to the victims through Turkish authorities. In particular, VT Travel Plus Company of Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Bulgaria, headquartered in Istanbul, directly supported and participated in coordinating relief activities with organizations and individuals in the Vietnamese community in Turkey.
