Coach Kim Sang-sik is at risk of being 'suspended' from the AFF Cup 2024

If he receives a yellow card in the return match, coach Kim Sang-sik will be suspended from coaching in the final, because the penalty applies the same to both players and head coaches. Therefore, if Thanh Chung has to be careful with conflicting situations, Mr. Kim must also restrain himself in arguing with the referee.

The Vietnamese team has seen yellow cards from its head coach when Park Hang-seo was still in charge. In the final of the 30th SEA Games, Coach Park Hang-seo received a red card due to his violent reaction to a tackle by an Indonesian U.22 player on Vietnam U.22. After that, Coach Park Hang-seo had to serve a suspension from coaching.
