Hoa Phat joins hands to support 30 billion VND to help overcome the consequences of storm No. 3

On September 19, 2024, Hoa Phat Group and its staff joined hands to donate 30 billion VND to support people who were severely damaged by Typhoon Yagi to stabilize their lives. It is expected that Hoa Phat will provide support in the form of donations through the Fatherland Front, direct cash transfers to disadvantaged families, and support the reconstruction and repair of some schools in the most severely affected provinces. The expected implementation time is from now until the first half of the fourth quarter of 2024.

Hoa Phat's factories and farms in the North have returned to stable production.

Storm No. 3 devastated and caused heavy damage to many provinces and cities in the Northern region. Thousands of houses collapsed and were severely damaged; hundreds of thousands of hectares of rice and crops were flooded and lost; many traffic routes, schools, medical facilities, and public works were severely damaged... Hoa Phat's factories and farms in the Northern provinces such as Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, Yen Bai , and Phu Tho were fortunate to have no human casualties, but they also recorded huge losses due to Storm No. 3 and floods caused by the storm's circulation. Many factories and farms were damaged, thousands of trees were broken, and production was interrupted due to widespread power outages. Immediately after the storm, the Group actively overcame the damage and production activities have now basically stabilized again. However, with the spirit of mutual love of the Vietnamese people, Hoa Phat Group and more than 32,000 employees joined hands to support 30 billion VND to support people in damaged provinces to quickly rebuild and stabilize their lives.
