Vinschool Construction Scholarship: 5 years of pioneering in narrowing the education gap

GD&TĐ - At the 4th season of the Creation Scholarship Award Ceremony, 30 determined students from many provinces and cities across the country were supported by Vinschool to embark on a new learning journey.

This is not only a joy for each individual student, but also a meaningful milestone for a 5-year journey of perseverance, where Vinschool is steadfast in its mission of narrowing the educational gap and providing quality learning opportunities for young talents.

Comprehensive and different scholarship model

Launched in 2020, the Kien Tao Scholarship was designed by Vinschool according to a comprehensive and different model. This is a pioneering model combining technology - academics - personal counseling, helping students in all regions access high-quality education.

The program not only provides financial support, computers, and the Internet - essential learning tools - but also provides opportunities to access international standard curriculum, online classes, 1:1 mentoring from Vinschool teachers, and a series of skill workshops and career orientation.

After only 3 seasons, the program has accompanied 168 students, awarding nearly 15 billion VND in support. With the support of the Kien Tao Scholarship, 93 students have been admitted to top universities nationwide; many have become leaders of community projects on reading culture, environmental protection, or continue to nurture their dreams of becoming doctors, engineers, and teachers.

Nguyen Phuong Thao - the first scholarship recipient, now a third-year student - shared: “The computer from the Kien Tao Scholarship has been with me for 5 years, helping me study online, connect with teachers and friends, opening up many opportunities for learning and personal development. But more importantly, it is the confidence that I am not alone on this journey.”

Accompanying young talents: When Vinsers become guides

Unlike scholarships that are simply “given”, the Kien Tao Scholarship is a journey of “accompanying”. Nearly 100 teachers and 50 Vinschool students have directly worked side by side with young talents - from online teaching, psychological counseling, to organizing more than 200 workshops on learning skills, self -discovery , and career orientation.

Every month, online classes are lit up in the evening. From different provinces and cities, students solve math problems, debate social issues, or give presentations in English. Geographical distances and backgrounds are gradually narrowed by knowledge and sharing.

The highlight of the 2025 season is the active participation of the Vinsers themselves. From screening applications, interviews, organizing scholarship awards ceremonies to long-term companionship, Vinschool students directly take on the role of coordinator and leader.

“Being able to participate from the preparation stage to the organization and accompanying the award ceremony, I was inspired by the students' eagerness to learn. This is not only a growing experience, but also an opportunity to spread the spirit of sharing to my peers who are striving to improve themselves,” Duc Minh - Vinser, coordinator of the 2025 Creation Scholarship - shared.

After 5 years, Kien Tao Scholarship has affirmed that its greatest value lies not only in numbers, but in the belief: education can shorten the gap and bring equal opportunities to every child.

Mr. Dang Hoa Nam - Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights - commented: "The Kien Tao Scholarship not only means 'construction' but also 'accompanying'. Children are supported both materially and spiritually, to build a future for themselves, their families and their homeland."
