Hanoi students spread their passion for drama to many audiences

Life's So Drama Club under Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted has successfully organized the annual drama program On Stage with the play "Five Thousand Miles". The play attracted the attention of nearly 800 audiences.

Known as the first and only drama club of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Life's So Drama is a place to nurture young talents with the desire to express their personality through dramatic arts. After 10 years of operation, the club has left many marks on the journey of spreading this passion for art to the community, especially high school students in Hanoi.

BTC On Stage 2024 consists of more than 100 members and collaborators

The first impression of the On Stage program was the play "Frollo" (2016) inspired by the novel "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". This was followed by the play "Doan Tuyet" (2018) depicting the picture of Northern Vietnam during the colonial and semi-feudal period. The program is widely known for the plays "Di Hoa" (2019), "Huyen Anh" (2020), "Vien Mong" (2022), "Khi Troi Hoi Gio" (2023). And the year 2024 was marked by the play "Ngu Thousand Miles".

On Stage 2024 has left the audience with unforgettable emotions through the ups and downs of the story about Vietnamese children living abroad in Russia dreaming of a dreamlike future but the harsh reality crushed those beautiful visions.

The play Five Thousand Miles sends a meaningful message to ambitious young people.

At the end of the play, characters like Duong, Thanh, Truc and Mai behind the stage are actually still students full of passion and enthusiasm for drama and have practiced hard day and night, honing their acting skills to create a satisfying performance. It is thanks to their diligence, willingness to dedicate and sacrifice themselves for art that the message "Life is like a dream, people scatter and plays disappear" has become more deeply imprinted in the hearts of the audience.

Through the play On Stage 2024: "Five Thousand Miles", young people aged 16 and 17 brought a meaningful message to ambitious young people: don't be discouraged, keep your head up high, look forward, and strive to overcome fate for yourself.
