Phu Yen Journalists Association trains to improve writing skills on Party building

Speaking at the opening of the training conference, journalist Pham Doan Anh Kiet, Permanent Vice President of Phu Yen Journalists Association, said: The conference aims to overcome the "dryness, difficulty, and suffering" when writing about Party building, helping cadres, reporters, editors, and collaborators write good, creative, and attractive articles on this topic, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of press propaganda about Party building work in the locality.

The training conference was attended by more than 70 members, journalists, reporters from the province's press agencies; officials, civil servants and public employees of the following units: Propaganda - Press - Publishing Department (Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department), Propaganda Departments of districts, towns and city Party Committees; Communication Center of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Political Department (Phu Yen Border Guard Command); Phu Yen Union of Science and Technology Associations; Center for Culture - Sports & Radio and Television of localities; Provincial Literature and Arts Association...

During 2 days (May 9-10), the trainees were taught by journalist Nguyen Van Bac (Nhan Dan Newspaper) the skills to produce journalistic works on Party building, focusing on the following contents: experience in discovering topics; skills in building outlines for journalistic works; skills in exploiting and analyzing documents, promoting creativity when producing journalistic works on Party building.

Creative skills to create good works, closely following events, documents, and real stories; major topics on current Party building work; ways to build and present journalistic works to participate in the National Journalism Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award); ways to build works to participate in the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views and propaganda skills on upcoming Party congresses at all levels.
