Lang Son Provincial Journalists Association launched an emulation movement to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

At the conference, delegates listened to Plan No. 103, dated August 29, 2024 of the Provincial Journalists Association on propaganda and organization of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day with contents such as: propaganda work; organizing sports activities, singing festivals for journalists; promoting emulation movements, encouraging and motivating members and journalists in creative journalistic works; reward work... Regular implementation time in 2024 and 2025, focusing on the peak in May and June 2025.

In particular, special attention is paid to the preparation of the main commemorative activities including: summarizing and evaluating the organization and implementation of the National Press Awards and Lang Son Provincial Press Awards; organizing the ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), meeting, praising outstanding journalists and awarding the 5th Lang Son Provincial Press Awards in 2025; an art program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; organizing exhibitions to display and introduce achievements of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press; making a documentary to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day...

At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association launched an emulation movement to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day with the following contents: promoting the role and responsibility of the team of leaders, managers, heads of press agencies, the Provincial Journalists Association and each member, journalist, civil servant and worker in implementing the emulation movement to well perform assigned political tasks.

Strengthening traditional education, enhancing the building of a cultural environment in press agencies and the culture of Vietnamese journalists, contributing to building a professional, humane and modern press and media; promoting the implementation of digital transformation of journalism; enhancing social responsibility and civic duty of journalists...

During the program, the Provincial Journalists Association awarded the "For the cause of Vietnamese journalism" medal to 16 members of the Provincial Journalists Association; and awarded membership cards to 16 officers and reporters of the Lang Son Newspaper Association and the Provincial Radio and Television Association.
