The Women's Union of the People's Security Academy commended advanced models and awarded prizes in the Writing and Drawing contest.

On the morning of March 6, in Hanoi , the Women's Union of the People's Security Academy held a rally to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2025) and commended advanced models, awarded prizes in the Writing-Drawing contest "I love my parents - People's Public Security soldiers".

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Thiet, Deputy Director of the People's Security Academy, emphasized: The People's Security Academy has gone through nearly 79 years of construction and growth with glorious achievements, including the joint efforts of many generations of cadres, lecturers, employees, and students of the People's Security Academy, including the indispensable contribution of female cadres, lecturers, and female students.

The leaders of the People's Security Academy emphasized that today's activities to honor outstanding members in professional work, the Association's work and the women's movement are a recognition of the comrades' continuous efforts, endeavors and struggles in all areas of work and study.

In the coming time, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Academy hope that the Women's Union of the Academy will continue to promote the good traditions and the achieved results; in which, focusing on implementing the targets of the Resolution of the Women's Congress of the Academy for the term 2021 - 2026 and the emulation movement "Women of the People's Public Security with discipline, responsibility, solidarity to build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force"; doing a good job of political and ideological education for members, in which the focus is on education about ideals, aspirations to contribute, and strive to rise up.

At the same time, encourage and educate the members of the cadre block to study and improve their qualifications, promote their intelligence and talents, and continue to have many initiatives and improvements in their work, promote the spirit of being good at national affairs, taking care of family affairs, and unite and join hands to contribute to the development of the Academy. For the female student block, it is necessary to promote the movement of studying well, practicing well, strictly following the regulations, building a cultural lifestyle to contribute to building a healthy cultural and educational environment at the Academy.

At the ceremony, the Women's Union of the People's Security Academy honored 15 outstanding and outstanding members for the 2020-2025 period. At the same time, the Writing-Drawing contest "I love my parents - People's Public Security soldiers" was announced and awarded.

The Women's Union of the People's Security Academy currently has 881 members, including 416 female officers, lecturers, and employees, and 466 female students, active in 04 grassroots Women's Unions and affiliated women's unions.

Currently, the number of members with Associate Professor and PhD degrees is 62 comrades; the number of female leaders at department level and equivalent is 32 comrades.

In 2024, the Academy's Women's Union was awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Minister of Public Security for its outstanding achievements in the work of the Union and the women's movement. Many members were awarded by the Minister of Public Security, the superior Women's Union and the Director of the Academy.
