Bim Son town women's union members enthusiastically participate in the folk dance and sports competition.

On the morning of March 3, the Women's Union of Bim Son town organized the 2024 Sports and Folk Dance Competition with the theme "Healthy and Beautiful Dance" to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day March 8 and the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, towards celebrating the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Women's Union of Bim Son town (April 14, 1982 - April 14, 2024). The competition attracted more than 500 female members in the town to participate.

Comrade Ha Thi Phuong, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union and town leaders presented flowers and souvenir flags to the teams.

At the opening ceremony, delegates enjoyed a vibrant and unique folk dance performance to the song "Come to the Vietnamese people" performed by more than 500 female cadres and members from the teams and clubs.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, President of the Women's Union of Bim Son town Chu Thi Thu emphasized: In recent years, the mass cultural, artistic and sports movement of the town has always received the attention of Party committees and authorities at all levels and has developed extensively with diverse and rich forms. Emerging is the folk dance and sports movement - a popular art form, simple but fun and community-oriented, suitable for many ages, attracting a large number of cadres, members, women and people of the whole town to participate in practice. 7/7 Women's Unions of wards and communes and 8 folk dance and sports clubs with hundreds of members participated in effective practice, actively exchanged, competed online at all levels and won high prizes.

On the occasion of March 8, leaders of Bim Son town presented flowers to congratulate the leaders of the Provincial and Town Women's Union and representatives of the contest's jury.

With the theme “Healthy and beautiful dance”, this year’s Sports Folk Dance Competition has 7 participating teams. Each team has at least 30 members. In no more than 10 minutes, each team performs 2 sports folk dances of their choice to music expressing the Vietnamese national identity and Thanh culture, praising the Party, homeland, country, family, and the fine traditions of Vietnamese women.

The teams were very creative in choosing songs, practiced carefully, invested carefully, and were consistent with the contest theme, expressing the spirit of "health and beauty", thus leaving an impression, creating excitement and attracting viewers.

Through the contest, women have demonstrated their talents, creativity, and confidence; aroused the spirit of solidarity, contributed to enhancing the spiritual and cultural values ​​of members and women, and built the image of Vietnamese women in general and women of Bim Son town in particular, with the health to fulfill their responsibilities to themselves, their families, and society.

Bim Son town leaders and the Organizing Committee awarded a special prize to the Women's Union Team of Bac Son ward.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded a special prize to the Bac Son Ward Women's Union team; first prize to the Quang Trung Commune Women's Union team; second prize to the Ngoc Trao and Dong Son Ward Women's Union teams; three third prizes and a consolation prize to the unit that mobilized the most members to participate.
