More than 1,000 electricity workers are working hard to restore the Quang Ninh power grid.

After just one day and night of the historic storm No. 3, the power grid in Quang Ninh province suffered unprecedented damage and chaos. The Electricity Industry is mobilizing all resources to gradually restore the system to soon restore power to customers as soon as possible, with special priority given to key loads such as hospitals, coal mines, water plants, etc.  

Company leaders and staff of the Remote Control Center (Quang Ninh Electricity Company) always stay up all night to monitor the power supply of power lines and transformer stations.

Faced with the urgent need to restore power to customers, in Quang Ninh, there are currently more than 1,000 people working hard in the rainy and windy weather to repair the province's power grid. Of these, 600 employees belong to Quang Ninh Power Company and 450 employees from 8 Power Companies of neighboring provinces (Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phuc , Phu Tho, Ha Tinh...), Northern Power Services Company, Northern Electricity Testing Company (ETC) and contractors.

Today (September 10), the Northern Power Company will continue to mobilize 2 more power companies in other provinces and cities to support Quang Ninh Power Company.

With continuous efforts, as of 8:00 a.m. today, Quang Ninh Electricity Company has restored 22/59 110kV lines (including 5 backup lines); restored 82/180 medium voltage lines; and restored power to over 134,000 customers.

More than 1,000 electricity workers are present in all localities in the province to fix the problem.

For priority loads in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Electricity Company is trying to restore power supply today. The remaining power lines in the city, due to many broken poles, will strive to be repaired in the next few days to restore power supply to customers.

As for the 4 pumping stations for flood drainage in Dong Trieu town (Thuy An, Hong Phong, Duc Chinh, Viet Dan), there is currently no electricity because the 474E5.23 line has broken down and tilted about 30 poles. Quang Ninh Electricity Company is trying to fix it in the next few days.
