More than 1.7 million license plates to be auctioned online at Session 8

Vietnam Auction Partnership (VPA) has just announced plans to organize the 8th Vehicle License Plate Auction, with a total of more than 1.7 million car, motorbike and scooter license plates to be put up for auction.

Accordingly, there will be 536,585 car license plates and 1,238,359 motorbike and scooter license plates appearing in this auction. Details of the list, deadline for submitting application fees, deposit fees and auction time frame are posted on the unit's website.

The 8th auction will have a "huge" number of participating car and motorbike license plates.

The auction was held entirely online on the website and application “VPA – License Plate Auction”. The starting price for each car license plate is 40 million VND. The starting price for each motorcycle license plate is 5 million VND.

For "unique" license plates in the form of AAAAA (A>4) or ABCDE (A4) auctioned again after the second time: starting price for car license plates: 500 million VND; for motorbikes/motorbikes: 50 million VND

Deposits corresponding to the starting price: 40 million VND (cars) and 5 million VND (motorbikes). For special license plates being re-auctioned, participants must deposit 500 million VND (cars) and 50 million VND (motorbikes).

Price step: 5 million VND (car) and 500 thousand VND (motorbike)

People can scan the QR code on the website/app to pay; transfer money to VPA account at Agribank (My Dinh branch) or BIDV (Hanoi branch). The transfer content must contain the correct payment code displayed when registering.

When customers log in to their account and register to bid on the Online Auction Information Page or the application, go to the "Vehicle License Plate Payment" section, the screen will display the account number, QR code for payment or payment content, and the amount corresponding to each customer each payment. Note that each payment will have a different payment code.
