More than 100 pilots participate in Kon Tum open paragliding competition

Accordingly, in order to promote and attract tourists to Sa Thay District, Kon Tum Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Sa Thay District People's Committee and SGP Aviation Sports Company Limited to organize the Kon Tum Province Paragliding Competition to expand the exploration of the great forest - Sa Thay 2024.

This is a practical activity held every March to commemorate the day of sacrifice. of the heroic martyrs at High Point 995 - Chu Tan Kra (Ya Xier commune, Sa Thay district).

The Paragliding Competition to Explore the Great Forest - Sa Thay 2024 is expected to be held for 3 days from March 22 to 24, 2024. The opening ceremony will take place at 7:30 a.m. on March 22. at the historical site of High Point 995 - Chu Tan Kra.

The 2024 Paragliding Competition will bring together about 120 domestic and foreign pilots. Of these, 41 are foreign pilots who are regularly training and participating in paragliding clubs in the country.

Mr. Duong Quang Phuc, Chairman of Sa Thay District People's Committee, said: "Through this activity, we hope to introduce scenic spots and local products to domestic and foreign friends. At the same time, the locality also hopes to attract investment, contributing to socio-economic development in the area."
