Arranging official housing to ensure staff peace of mind at work

On September 25, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Deputy Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Quang Ngai Province, said that the unit has just put into use the dormitories of the Quang Ngai Provincial Political School Project (phase 2), ensuring the arrangement of official accommodation for officials in the West of the province (former Kon Tum province).

Deputy Director Nguyen Van Cuong said that initially, the number of officials in the West of the province who registered for official housing was 80 people. However, up to now, the list has been reduced to about 45 people. Based on actual needs, the Board decided to only renovate the existing dormitory block with a scale of 40 rooms, build a new 3-storey dormitory block with a scale of 9 rooms, belonging to the Quang Ngai Provincial Political School Project (phase 2) for which the Board was assigned as the investor; not repair the dormitory block of Le Khiet Specialized High School according to the original plan.

Also according to Mr. Cuong, thanks to the direction and urging of the construction unit to speed up the project implementation progress, up to now, the two above-mentioned dormitories have been basically completed, and have been approved by the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police for fire prevention and fighting; the Quang Ngai Provincial Department of Construction has unanimously accepted, ensuring the conditions for putting into use in accordance with regulations.

“The two dormitories are fully equipped with necessary equipment such as air conditioners, desks, chairs, televisions, wardrobes, beds, refrigerators, water heaters, wifi... 38 cases have contacted the investor to sign for rooms, the rest have not signed due to being busy on business trips or for other reasons. The Board will continue to arrange rooms in the coming time so that 100% of the cadres (under the management of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee) can have stable long-term accommodation, work with peace of mind, and complete assigned political tasks well.
