The contest was launched on April 26 with 2 rounds: Preliminary round and Final round. The preliminary round takes place in 12 weeks - corresponding to 3 stages of the contest on the online platform at: tuyengiaothudo.com.vn.
After 3 months of implementation, the preliminary round of the contest had 1,309,374 contestants participating, in which the 3rd phase of the contest from 8:00 on July 1 to 23:00 on July 31, 2024 with the theme: "New spacious road" took place enthusiastically, attracting 539,807 contestants to participate. The contest has spread, attracting many contestants from other provinces and cities to participate and win high prizes (provinces, cities: Binh Duong, Thanh Hoa, Soc Trang , Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City...).
The organizing committee said that immediately after the end of phase 3 of the competition, a meeting will be held to mark and evaluate the essay exams. 16 contestants include: 12 contestants who won first prize in 12 weeks of competition and 4 contestants with the best essay questions (as evaluated by the Jury) and selected to participate in the final round at the city level.
The final round of the competition is expected to take place at the end of August 2024 in the form of a “dramatization”. The 16 finalists will be drawn into 4 teams of 4 members each, participating in 4 competitions.
Recognizing and praising the spirit of participation of individuals and units in phase 3, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh suggested that contestants prepare content and arrange practice time to participate in the upcoming final round well. Units continue to promote propaganda work through visual propaganda forms and propaganda on social networks; widely spread the meaningful humanistic values of the contest.
At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded First, Second, and Third prizes in the 4 weeks of phase 3 to excellent candidates; and a special prize to Quoc Oai district - the unit with the largest number of candidates participating in phase 3 of the competition with 53,599 candidates.
Regarding the individual awards in phase 3, the first prize was awarded to Dinh Ha Le, an official of the Statistics Office of Hang Ma ward, Hoan Kiem district; the second prize was awarded to Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu, an officer of the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Thuong Tin district; the third prize was awarded to Tran Thi Quynh, Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Hoan Kiem district Party Committee.
