More than 175 thousand visitors choose to stay in Khanh Hoa on September 2nd

According to statistics from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism , during the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2, the total number of visitors staying in the locality reached 175,000 (an increase of 114% over the same period last year), of which international visitors reached more than 45,000 and domestic visitors about 130,000. Total revenue from tourism during this period is estimated at more than 756 billion VND.

The average room occupancy rate of accommodation facilities in Khanh Hoa also reached about 70%, in which some resorts had room occupancy rates of over 90%. In particular, the Nha Trang city area had an average occupancy rate of about 60% or more, mainly focusing on the 3-5 star segment and equivalent.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, said that the number of visitors to the locality during the September 2nd holiday this year tends to increase slightly, because this is not the peak tourist season even though people have 4 days off, many families and companies have traveled during the summer months and it is the time near the school start date for students at all levels.

“The high airfare has affected the travel of domestic tourists, but with the highway running smoothly from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang, tourists in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces can travel by road to Khanh Hoa very conveniently. In addition to road and air, rail is also chosen by domestic tourists to travel during this year's holiday,” Ms. Thanh informed.

Although there are no major events held on this occasion, Khanh Hoa tourism industry is always ready with resources to serve tourists, many tourist attractions and entertainment spots offer many new products and incentive programs, serving the maximum needs of tourists, tourism programs are also renewed, diversified, bringing many experiences to tourists.
