More than 200 drone lights lit up the sky of Hoi An Memory Island on the evening of June 1

This light festival takes place only at 7:15 p.m. on June 1. For about 15 minutes, the drones will fly in formation to create 12 attractive scenes such as flying dragons, Japanese Covered Bridge, lotus flowers, Hoi An Memory Gate, Moonlight Bridge, etc. This is the opening activity for the 3-month "Lighting up the Sky" festival, which will take place from June 1 to September 2, 2024.

According to the representative of Hoi An Memory Island, with the use of modern technology, the light festival will tell the unique cultural and historical story of the heritage site, bringing visitors interesting surprises. Visitors will be able to witness an unprecedented light show in the sky of Hoi An.

Drone light is a combination of hundreds, even thousands of drones to create images and brilliant light effects in the night sky. Each drone will be equipped with LED lights that can change color according to programming.

On this occasion, many activities also take place at Hoi An Memory Island such as mini-show performances, releasing wishing lanterns... Visitors will own wishing lanterns only available at Hoi An Memory, write their own wishes, and release sparkling wishing lanterns into the sky.

The festival space will also become more vibrant with a series of attractive light-themed minishow performances with fun dances, explosive sounds and brilliant colors from the actors' gorgeous costumes, bringing visitors truly memorable summer moments.
