On October 7, Hanoi Urban Environment One Member Co., Ltd. (URENCO Hanoi) deployed the "Code of Conduct specifically for environmental sanitation workers", aiming to improve ethical standards of behavior and conduct, and build a culture of environmental workers that is increasingly closer and more civilized to the people of the capital.
The Code of Conduct was widely disseminated to 4,000 officers and employees of 22 member units.
With vivid illustrations and concise, easy-to-understand, easy-to-implement content, the Code of Conduct will be easily accessible to specific audiences. Accordingly, in addition to complying with general rules, environmental sanitation workers need to raise awareness of behaviors that are not allowed, causing unsafety and environmental pollution.
The Code of Conduct focuses on the requirements that environmental workers always maintain a respectful and polite attitude towards people and colleagues and actively acknowledge and accept all contributions and feedback from people. Workers maintain a serious demeanor and wear full protective gear when working...
In addition to complying with general rules of conduct, environmental sanitation workers must also raise awareness of absolutely prohibited behaviors to ensure safety, aesthetics and not cause environmental pollution. Prohibited behaviors include: Burning or throwing cigarette butts into the trash, causing fire and explosion risks, unsafety; sweeping leaves into manholes and sewers; pushing collection carts against traffic flow, etc.
The implementation of the Code of Conduct by Urenco Hanoi is expected to create a strong change in the awareness and actions of environmental workers, contributing to building an image of professional, friendly sanitation workers, worthy of the respect and trust of the people of the Capital.
