Established since June 2024 with 293 members, the Hoai River - Hoi An Tourist Boat Cooperative has built specific operating regulations and customer service procedures.

In 2024, the total number of visitors to Hoi An using boat services will be more than 145,800 trips, with each boat carrying an average of 498 trips/year. The total revenue of the Cooperative will be more than 68.8 billion VND, an increase of more than 12.7% compared to 2023; the salary of each worker in the Cooperative will reach more than 17.3 million VND/month.

Mr. Le Van Khuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Director of the Cooperative said that the movements and activities have made many progresses, especially since the Cooperative was established (on the basis of the former Hoai River Tourist Boat Union); activities have become more and more routine, the lives of members are stable; the awareness of building the Cooperative has been promoted, especially the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance is clearly demonstrated.
