An Lao District (Hai Phong) meets advanced new rural standards

(Chinhphu.vn) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 602/QD-TTg dated March 14, 2025 recognizing An Lao district, Hai Phong city, as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Hai Phong city to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directed the People's Committee of An Lao district to continue maintaining and improving the quality of criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.

* In 2023, An Lao district was recognized by the Prime Minister as meeting the standards of a new rural district. Immediately after that, the district continued to review and complete the criteria for building an advanced new rural district. By early December 2024, the entire district had 9 communes recognized by the city as model new rural communes; 15/15 communes were recognized as advanced new rural communes. By the end of 2024, the district was voted by the sectors to be recognized as an advanced new rural district.

In 2025, An Lao district will have 6 communes to continue building model new rural areas. The locality strives to have 100% of the communes in the district recognized as model and advanced new rural communes by the end of 2025. Therefore, in 2025, the district will focus on the communes to complete the model new rural area on time.
