Intel demonstrates next-generation AI PC that doesn't need an Internet connection

Intel has demonstrated the practical application of AI PC models equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors to support work and content creation.

The AI ​​PC models brought by Intel allow for direct processing of artificial intelligence (AI) tasks right on the device without the need for an Internet connection. This helps users speed up many daily tasks such as composing emails, arranging work schedules, and enhancing the online calling experience with background blur and noise cancellation features.

For creators, AI PCs offer the ability to quickly process photo and video post-production tasks. With just a few clicks, complex operations like removing objects from the background or separating vocals from music become easy. Intel also introduced AI Playground, a free app for AI beginners that helps create images from text, edit and enhance images, or chat with AI chatbots.

This is part of more than 400 AI-accelerated features that Intel has partnered with the world's leading software developers to bring to users on AI PC models equipped with Intel Core Ultra.

The highlight of the lineup is the Intel Core Ultra 200V processor, which will be available in late 2024. This chip delivers three times the performance per thread and 80% more peak performance, while also enabling up to 20 hours of real-world battery life. Intel has introduced a range of AI PCs powered by this processor from leading partners including Acer, Asus, Dell Technologies, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, and MSI, confirming ecosystem readiness.
