According to journalist Claudio of ESPN (USA): "Messi will definitely sign a contract extension with Inter Miami for at least another year and an option to extend the following year. I have spoken to sources close to Inter Miami and both have denied any possibility that Messi is considering leaving, because as reported in the past few weeks, both sides are in the process of negotiating. Everything is probably completed and will be announced soon."
