International visitors impressed with the exhibition of 80 years of national achievements

The National Achievements Exhibition not only attracts a large number of domestic people, but also leaves a deep impression on international friends, from recreating heroic historical events to an innovative, creative and integrated Vietnam.

On an autumn afternoon in Hanoi , crowds of people flock to the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi). Among the crowd, it is not difficult to see images of international guests attentively listening to the explanation, standing in front of the 3D mapping model recreating the historical moment of the Vietnamese people, or excitedly trying to experience shooting.

They come from many different countries, but share the same feelings: surprise, admiration and strong impression of a Vietnam that is both rich in tradition and dynamic, creative and deeply integrated.

Faced with such a strong influence, the Organizing Committee decided to extend the exhibition to September 15 instead of ending on September 5 as originally planned. This also opened up more opportunities for many international delegations to witness firsthand the remarkable progress of Vietnam over the past 80 years.

Standing in front of the Ministry of National Defense's exhibition booth, which showcased many modern weapons and equipment made in Vietnam, Major General Leang Sovannara, Cambodian Military Attaché in Vietnam, could not hide his surprise. He said that Vietnam's defense industry is developing very quickly.

According to Major General Leang Sovannara, what impressed him most was the extremely thoughtful preparation and organization. The display areas were not only large but also introduced a variety of modern equipment, weapons and products.

“I feel that Vietnam is moving very fast in developing its defense industry. I believe that in the near future, Vietnam will launch more modern defense products,” said Major General Leang Sovannara.

In addition to his impressions of the scale and modernity, Major General Leang Sovannara also mentioned the prospects for cooperation between the countries in the field of defense. According to him, Vietnam and Cambodia have a good traditional friendship and always maintain that relationship, while promoting and further strengthening both defense cooperation and relations between the two countries.

Major General Leang Sovannara also emphasized that the exhibition recreated the heroic history of the Vietnamese people, and at the same time reflected the new vitality of a nation on the rise, as General Secretary To Lam affirmed, a new era, an era of rising up of the Vietnamese people.

Lieutenant Colonel Soe Moe Naing, Myanmar Military Attaché in Vietnam, also expressed his excitement after directly experiencing the shooting simulation and visiting the exhibition booth of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.

“Visiting the exhibition, I can clearly feel Vietnam's development,” Lieutenant Colonel Soe Moe Naing expressed.

Lieutenant Colonel Soe Moe Naing said that this exhibition is not simply a place to display achievements but also reflects the stature and aspirations of Vietnam in the new period.

Lieutenant Colonel Soe Moe Naing affirmed: “It is really impressive. Many types of modern weapons and equipment were displayed: from radars, air defense systems to new technical equipment. This shows that Vietnam is not only developing in the field of defense but also making great progress in many other fields.”

During the first days of the Exhibition's opening, on the morning of August 31, military delegations from the Russian Armed Forces, the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Army visited the Exhibition of the country's achievements "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

Not only impressed by the Ministry of National Defense's display booth with historical artifacts and modern weapons, foreign friends were also moved by the warm and friendly feelings of the Vietnamese people at the exhibition.

Images of handshakes, smiles, and group photos between international soldiers and Vietnamese people created beautiful moments, spreading the spirit of friendship and peace.

The exhibition of national achievements “80 years of the Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” has gone beyond the framework of an exhibition event, becoming a lively space for people and international friends to experience, share and express their admiration for a heroic, dynamic, innovative and aspiring Vietnam.

With a scale of nearly 260,000 m², more than 230 booths, the exhibition brings together the achievements of ministries, branches, localities and businesses across the country. In particular, the participation of 12 cultural industries has brought a new look: from creative spaces, contemporary art, to virtual reality technology, 3D mapping models recreating historical milestones.

The Ministry of National Defense's exhibition area stands out with an area of ​​over 23,000 m², attracting a lot of attention. Here, visitors can admire valuable historical artifacts, along with modern weapons and technical equipment of the Vietnam People's Army. Not only is it a place to tell memories of war, this area also shows the army's steady progress in the cause of modernization.
