Opening of training course to update knowledge for members of the 13th Party Central Committee

The Standing Secretariat emphasized that the training and knowledge update course is an opportunity to look back at the past half term and the responsibility of each member of the Party Central Committee for the assigned tasks.

On the morning of August 21, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with the Central Organizing Committee to open a training course to update knowledge for members of the 13th Party Central Committee (first class).

Member of the Politburo , Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of the training course Truong Thi Mai attended and gave a speech.

Also attending were Politburo members: Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the training course; General, Minister of Public Security To Lam.

The training and knowledge update course includes 52 students, lasting 5 days from August 21-25. Students will listen to and discuss 9 topics that comprehensively cover important issues related to the Party's leadership and direction, with long-term, strategic thinking associated with the country's development goals until 2030 and 2045. The topics are delivered by reporters who are senior Party leaders and international experts.

On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai stated that training and updating knowledge is a requirement in each term for members of the Party Central Committee, cadres assigned by the Party to head Party committees and organizations, and responsible to the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat for leadership, direction, and ensuring that the Party's guidelines, policies, regulations, and statutes are strictly, consistently, and effectively implemented in agencies, organizations, and localities.

According to the Standing Secretariat, since the beginning of the 13th Party Congress, the world situation has had many rapid, complex and unpredictable developments; domestically, besides advantages, there are also potential risks to macroeconomic stability. This reality requires Party committees and organizations from the central to local levels to focus on leadership, direction and timely removal of obstacles that are hindering economic development.

From the above context, the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat said that the Secretariat requires continuing to innovate the training program and update knowledge for Party Central Committee members in a practical direction, improving efficiency, both close to reality and ensuring strategic thinking.

The Standing Secretariat emphasized that the training and knowledge update course is an opportunity to look back at the past half term and the responsibility of each member of the Party Central Committee for the assigned tasks.

With that spirit, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Truong Thi Mai requested that each member of the Party Central Committee deeply perceive and strive to cultivate and train their qualities, improve their mettle and capacity, not only to fulfill assigned political tasks but also to make worthy contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause.

Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai requested that Party Central Committee members attend the training course, ensure discipline, order, seriousness, actively exchange, discuss, and contribute ideas during the time studying in class.

Representing the trainees of the training class, Party Central Committee member, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong, Class President, thanked the Party and State leaders for their responsible attention and guidance to the Central Executive Committee members.

On behalf of the trainees of the training class, Mr. Bui Van Cuong affirmed that he will promote the highest sense of responsibility, initiative, creativity, and participation in completing the set objectives of the class; strictly implement the class rules, regulations, and requirements of the class Steering Committee.
