On the morning of June 27, the 14th Summer Davos Forum opened in Tianjin city, northern China.

With the theme “Entrepreneurship: The driving force of the global economy,” this forum is expected to have the participation of 1,500 delegates including political officials, business people, scholars and representatives of international organizations.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chinese Premier Li Qiang stressed that countries around the world are experiencing many shocks due to global crises . Humanity is also facing global challenges such as climate change, debt risks, slowing growth and the gap between rich and poor.

According to Chinese Premier Li Qiang, when faced with a major crisis, no country can solve the problem alone.

He added that over the past three years, all countries have made efforts to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, which shows the great power of humanity uniting and caring for each other in difficult times.

Therefore, the Chinese leader stressed, countries around the world must cherish the benefits of cooperation, work together to solve these global challenges and promote human progress.

He called on countries to make persistent efforts to maintain fairness and justice, protect common security and preserve a peaceful and stable development environment.

The 14th Summer Davos Forum will last until June 29./.
