Opening of the 2025 National Cheo Festival in Bac Ninh province

The National Cheo Festival is a periodic professional art activity organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, aiming to preserve and promote the value of Cheo art in the present period.

On the evening of October 20, at the Bac Ninh Provincial Culture-Exhibition Center, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Cheo Festival.

This year's festival will take place until November 2, 2025, bringing together 12 professional Cheo art troupes with the participation of more than 900 artists, actors, and musicians from many provinces and cities across the country.

The troupes brought to the Festival 21 outstanding plays, with elaborate investment in ideological content and staging art, vividly reflecting social life, praising the homeland, country and people of Vietnam; honoring moral and humanistic values ​​and aspirations for goodness.
