Opening the UAV market

Heavy-duty transport UAVs from 60kg to 300kg of CT UAV Company (CT Group member) are highly appreciated by many countries including Korea, showing that Vietnam is ready to participate in the technology market at a higher level.

The memorandum of understanding signed between CT Group (Vietnam) and an emerging unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology company in Korea for the "order" of 5,000 UAV transport aircraft is the result of a long journey of CT Group.

From 2016 to 2017, CT Group had a strategy to develop the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry and began researching UAVs. By 2020, the group had partnered with the largest agricultural UAV manufacturer in Vietnam and established Dr One Company. Dr One faced numerous challenges, as choosing to enter research and development (R&D) was very costly and full of risks. The economic crisis along with the impact of Covid-19 caused Dr One to "disappear".

Undaunted, the research team pursued the path of research and development. The cooperation partner this time was a leading Vietnamese company in the field of military and industrial UAV development. CT Group has repeatedly sponsored this joint group to aggressively penetrate the Middle East market throughout 2022 and 2023 and established CT AirUAV Company. This time, CT AirUAV continued to fail to achieve the expected results.

At the most difficult time, the group made a very drastic decision based on the experience of mastering UAV technology and ensuring that the research speed must be faster than the speed of market change. From here, the group rebranded with the new name CT UAV with progress in 2024 and 2025, being evaluated as one of the units with fast R&D speed, creating an outstanding competitive advantage with the desire to export Vietnamese UAVs around the world .

The above-mentioned cooperation memorandum on August 12, 2025 in Seoul, Korea also opens up opportunities for CT Group to export UAV equipment to many other countries around the world... if this cooperation memorandum becomes a reality.
