Opening of Keo Lom market

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate Keo Lom market.

Keo Lom market project is invested in construction with capital from the National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the period 2021-2025, with a total investment of 3 billion VND. The project started on October 27, 2022 and was completed on April 27, 2023. The market has a total area of ^{​​4,100m2} . Of which, the market hall area has an area of ^​​235m2 ; stalls are arranged into areas: Display and sale of OCOP products, agricultural products, handicrafts; cuisine ; introduction of traditional crafts and culture of local ethnic groups; outdoor sales (livestock, poultry, plants, breeds ... ); commercial stalls for businesses and cooperatives. Keo Lom Market is located on Highway 12, convenient for people to trade goods, introduce products of the commune in particular and promote the brand of products of the district in general. At the opening ceremony, Keo Lom Market was arranged with more than 100 booths to serve the trading needs of people of Keo Lom commune and neighboring communes.

To celebrate the 78th anniversary of National Day ( September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023), Keo Lom highland market will be held for 2 days (September 1 - 2) with many activities of buying and selling goods; culture, arts and traditional games of ethnic groups in Dien Bien Dong district.

Keo Lom market is held every Saturday.
