Free medical examination and treatment for people in border areas

Leaders of Lao Cai province and Bat Xat district presented souvenirs to the working delegation of the Ministry of National Defense .

Attending the program were leaders of the Military Medical Department, Military Traditional Medicine Institute (Ministry of National Defense); Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Bat Xat District People's Committee.

At the program, doctors from the Military Medical Department and the Military Traditional Medicine Institute examined internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, ultrasound, electrocardiography... and provided health consultations, and provided free medicine to more than 600 people in the border communes of Bat Xat district (Ban Qua, Ban Vuoc, Bat Xat town). The total value of medicine and supplies used was 280 million VND.

Many people came to get medical check-ups and health advice.

In addition, the Ministry of National Defense and the People's Committee of Bat Xat district presented 17 gifts to encourage 17 households of policy beneficiaries, families of people with revolutionary contributions and people participating in resistance activities.

Leaders of the Military Medical Department and the Military Traditional Medicine Institute presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, families of people with revolutionary contributions, and people participating in resistance activities.
