On September 26, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health held a signing ceremony for a comprehensive cooperation and professional support program between Military Hospital 175 , specialized hospitals of the city and Cu Chi Regional General Hospital.
The model of professional support coordination for Cu Chi Regional General Hospital will be implemented in the period 2025-2028, with overall coordination by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health .
Support units will combine many forms: remote consultation, on-site support, rotational training associated with technical transfer and operational monitoring.
In which, Military Hospital 175 is a comprehensive support unit including: training, technology transfer, emergency - resuscitation - microsurgery - ECMO, guidance on implementing electronic medical records and hospital management model.
The city's tertiary hospitals include Gia Dinh People's Hospital, 115 People's Hospital, Tu Du Hospital, Children's Hospital 1, Oncology Hospital, Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital, Orthopedic Trauma Hospital and 115 Emergency Center, which will provide specialized support in specific fields.

Cu Chi Regional General Hospital has a capacity of 1,000 beds, modern infrastructure and a list of more than 5,200 approved techniques, serving as the medical center of the Northwest region of the city. This area is adjacent to the communes of Tay Ninh province, with high demand for treatment, especially for serious illnesses, out-of-hospital emergencies and referrals.
The hospital is oriented to develop according to a complete grade I multidisciplinary model, a trauma emergency center and a stroke center. With comprehensive investment in expertise, this facility will develop specialized techniques such as: neurosurgery - thorax - abdomen - maxillofacial, trauma resuscitation, endovascular intervention, ECMO, neonatal resuscitation, early stage cancer diagnosis and treatment...
