On the afternoon of September 27, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with leaders of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on defense industry.

Attending the meeting were: Politburo member, Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang; Party Central Committee Secretary, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son; Ministers, leaders of the Ministries of National Defense, Home Affairs, Science and Technology, Industry and Trade, Justice, Finance; Minister, Head of the Government Office ; Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

After listening to the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and the leaders of the General Department of Defense Industry report on the results of leadership, direction and implementation of all aspects of work of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department on defense industry development, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and commended the outstanding results and achievements in the first 9 months of 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Defense Industry.

Analyzing the context and situation, the Prime Minister directed to promote research and application of science and technology to develop the defense industry, contributing to the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
