Starting auction of Thuy Ta restaurant in Da Lat, price 36 billion VND/10 years

On June 24, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the starting price for the auction of property lease rights on land and land lease for Thuy Ta restaurant (Ward 1, Da Lat City, Lam Dong).

The starting price for this restaurant is over 3.6 billion VND/year and the lease will be auctioned for 10 years, paid annually. Of which, the house rent is 378 million VND/year and the land rent is nearly 3.3 billion VND/year.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned Da Lat City People's Committee to develop criteria, organize evaluation and scoring to select asset auction organizations to organize auctions; supervise the organization of asset auctions in accordance with regulations; ensure publicity, transparency, and high competitiveness to select organizations and individuals with the highest prices, increasing maximum revenue for the state budget.

It is known that the winning bidder must maintain the current status of the project and the auction is expected to be held this year.

Thuy Ta Restaurant has a total area of ​​3,800m2, located in a prime location right in the center of Da Lat city and this is one of the two islands on Xuan Huong Lake. In 2023, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province approved the starting price for the auction of lease rights for this restaurant to be over 3 billion VND/year.

At the end of 2023, a businessman in Hanoi won the auction with a price of over 15 billion VND/year (equivalent to 150 billion VND/10 years) but then he withdrew the deposit because he was not allowed to change the restaurant name. Lam Dong Province then decided to cancel the above auction result.
