Lam Dong caught 7 people gambling red-handed

On September 18, Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police said the unit is continuing to investigate and consolidate files to handle subjects participating in gambling that occurred in the locality.

Evidence of the case

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation and managing the area, the Commune Police discovered a number of subjects who regularly gathered to gamble, causing insecurity and disorder in the residential area. Recognizing the complexity of the case, the Commune Police leaders directed the force to develop a plan and deploy professional measures to promptly combat and handle the case.

At exactly 5:00 p.m. on September 14, Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police organized forces to inspect the house of Mr. Luc Van Vong (born in 1986, residing in Lap Nghia village, Ham Thuan Nam commune). Here, the functional forces caught 7 subjects red-handed gambling in the form of "scratching".

At the scene, the authorities seized evidence including: 4.7 million VND on the gambling mat, 80 thousand VND in coins, 7 decks of playing cards. When checking the subjects, the authorities seized more than 5 million VND.

At the police station, the subjects admitted all their illegal acts. Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police have made a record, sealed the evidence, and continued to consolidate documents to handle them according to regulations.
