On October 21, the People's Committee of Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat announced that 4 households had voluntarily dismantled their houses and handed over the site to continue construction, opening Lu Gia Street connecting to the upstream area of Xuan Huong Lake.
Specifically, the households involved voluntarily signed a handover record of more than 450 square meters of land, and proactively dismantled the construction, creating conditions for the government to implement the construction of Lu Gia road connecting to the upstream area of Xuan Huong lake.
After the households handed over the land, the entire route was basically cleared. The construction unit could deploy synchronously, clearing the road section that had been congested for many years.

The investment project to build a road connecting Lu Gia Street to the upstream of Xuan Huong Lake (1.7km long) and build a dike around settling lake No. 1 (Xuan Huong Lake) has a total investment capital of 261 billion VND, invested by the Da Lat Area Construction Investment Project Management Board.

This is an important project, with the goal of completing technical infrastructure, solving flooding, limiting traffic congestion in the central area of Da Lat, reducing traffic pressure from Xuan Huong Lake through Suong Nguyet Anh Street to Phan Chu Trinh intersection - which often experiences traffic congestion during rush hour.
Construction started in September 2021 and was expected to be completed and put into use by 2024, but due to site clearance problems, the project has only completed about 500m.
