After storm No. 10, the famous suburban eco-zone in Ha Tinh - Trang Lien Nhat Village (belonging to Lien Nhat Agricultural and General Service Cooperative) in Tran Phu Ward had its roof collapsed, trees broken, and decorations shattered. The once poetic landscape was now covered with traces of the storm, with preliminary damage estimated at hundreds of millions of VND.
The eco-tourism area, once bustling with tourists coming to visit, take photos, and enjoy cuisine amidst a cool, peaceful green space, has now become desolate.
The large stall area, which used to accommodate hundreds of diners at a time, was bustling in and out during peak days. After storm No. 10, the roof was completely blown off, the bracing frame was broken, and tables and chairs were scattered. To reopen, the entire area had to be rebuilt almost from scratch.
The strong winds also bent the structural frame, knocked down the decorative walkways, light roofs, lantern systems, and miniature landscapes. The eco-tourism area, which used to be a check-in point for many tourists, is now just a memory. Previously, this eco-zone had survived storm No. 5 with almost no damage. Before storm No. 10, the owner of the facility mobilized manpower to tie the roof, fix the frame, and cover each area. However, all those efforts became hopeless due to the strong gusts of wind and prolonged heavy rain. After just one night, the place that was once considered a "green corner of the suburbs" suddenly turned into rubble, making the farm owner heartbroken, years of hard work gone in an instant.
Immediately after the rain stopped, the cooperative made a plan to fix it. " Most of the construction was severely damaged so we had to start over. Although we knew it would take a long time to restore it properly, we still tried to make preliminary repairs first so as not to affect the customer experience. We really hope that the government and the community will pay attention and support to bring the eco-zone back into operation soon," said Mr. Nguyen Huu Quyen - Director of Lien Nhat Agricultural and General Service Cooperative. It is expected that after the heavy rain, workers will begin to clear the roof and rebuild the remaining frames. Despite the difficulties, the facility still plans to restore the landscape, repair the dining area and renovate the miniature areas to be ready to welcome guests back as soon as the weather stabilizes. It is estimated that it will take about 2 months and cost hundreds of millions of VND to fix. With the strong determination of Lien Nhat Agricultural and General Service Cooperative, it is hoped that the suburban eco-zone of Ha Tinh will soon revive, continue to be a green and friendly destination, bringing interesting experiences to tourists, contributing to the development of the local economy .
