In November 2024, the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) awarded the "Best Tourist Village" award in 2024 to Tra Que Vegetable Village (Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province). This prestigious award is not only the pride of Tra Que people but also puts the image of rural Vietnam on the world tourism map.

Currently, Tra Que village has 202 households participating in vegetable growing activities with 326 direct workers on an area of ​​18 hectares of cultivated land, bringing in a stable source of income. In addition, tourism activities have brought vegetable growers a very significant source of income. The traditional method of growing organic vegetables not only protects the environment, ensures food safety but also creates vegetable products with a unique flavor that is difficult to find elsewhere.
