According to Decision No. 162, dated March 20, 2025, of the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam , Huong Tra Eco-Village is recognized as a tourist destination.
Huong Tra Ecological Village tourist destination, north borders Huong Son residential area, south borders Tam Ky river, east borders Ban Thach river, west borders Huong Trung residential area.
Huong Tra Eco-village is where the unique "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season" Festival takes place every year. This is also the place that owns a population of ancient Sua trees, including 9 trees with an age of 100-150 years old, recognized by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment as Vietnam Heritage Trees in 2024.
Held for the first time in 2017, "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season" has been continuously maintained and become a major annual cultural - tourism - sports festival of the provincial capital city in particular, and Quang Nam province in general.
Thereby, associated with the formation of Huong Tra Eco-Village tourist destination, aiming to build the brand "Tam Ky - City of yellow sua flowers", contributing to promoting the city's tourism activities, becoming a destination in the tourist address of Quang Nam province.
This year, the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season 2025" Festival is expected to be held in mid-April with many cultural, tourism and sports activities.
Tam Ky will also announce the decision to recognize Huong Tra Eco-Village as a tourist destination on the opening night of the festival.
